Those guys most likely wont be Malkin, Crosby, Toews, Kane, Kopitar, Stamkos, Ovi, etc.

I know they will probably be good players but we have been talking for years about getting that dynamic franchise stud. Now it looks like we are missing out. Where is another Seguin trade when you need one!

Are most people okay with the Sabres starting to come on strong?

I never believed Murray was managing a tank job. Not his personality. But, this is a really strong draft with generational players at the top. You can't not cheer for them because they have such a great work ethic. Yet, you have to second guess when you see that top pick sliding away.

I'm iffy on it. I love watching the young guys play well and actually have success. But I have been dreaming of a day when the sabres have a player that's considered one of the best in the game.

Eventually bounces go the wrong way. They're hopped up on confidence, the slightest mishap could swing things the other way.
