Astounding. Simply astounding the bias and Jagr hate some people have. I want one of those TVs where I can always see what I want to happen, as well. - jmatchett383
Maybe that would be a TV that actually shows the Flyers winning a game. |

"...Brandon Sutter was consistently engaged physically while combining it with his speed as well."
I know Bartley is supposedly over his extreme Sutter hate, but stuff like this still has to bother him, deep down, on some level. |

I'm done with this one. I'll check back if/when Luke Schenn makes the same hit on Crosby. - jmatchett383
Why don't you just come back when the flyers make it out of the cellar?

Funny thing is, if Jagr gets up and skates away from that hit, there isn't a whole blog post or any fuss about it today. |

It was a bad hit plain and simple. Borts was physical with Jagr all night. He just got carried away with that hit. Looks like the chin is the principal point of contact IMO. I say Borts gets 2 games. |

At this point, I'm not sure even that would get us a win |

In all fairness, Sutter has been a force this season, and was one of, if not the best player on the ice last night for the Penguins. That one shift where he kept the puck in the offensive zone several different times by himself was impressive. |

Exactly, it would be a part of the new blog saying how good and physical bortz is and a pie chart on how he is better than orpik ever was |

To Bart's credit, he seems more interested in PBI (Penguins' Best Interest) than with being right.
Some folks around here I'm pretty sure get upset when Fleury shuts out a team because it makes them feel insecure about the veracity of their own opinions. |

Exactly... I think Sill's hit on Gelinas was later (and more dangerous ) than Bortuzzo's, but Gelinas got up. |

barely any love for MAF and his lead league leading 5th shutout. He's looks like a different goalie this year. Last night was the first time i've ever seen him look confident playing the puck behind the net. - cap1681
Fleury could have 18 shutouts in a row and Ryan would still make some graph or chart no one but him understands on why Fleury sucks and should be playing in Siberia. Every season is a new season, you can't always judge a player based on 3 seasons ago. |

I have pads if you don't like to penetrate yourself? Let me know - dbell646
You should probably hang on to them, they'll help soak up the mess next time you all lose your collective poop when somebody flings any degree of criticism at Fleury. |

Well, I didn't mean the blog in general, just the general discussion.
And I'll decline, because I would like to be on this blog again before the year 2016. |

Agreed, but that's how Fleury was defended for the years immediately following the Cup run. |

I watched the third period of the Flyers game last night... You know things are bad when after that goal, I actually caught myself feeling bad for Flyers fans. |

I honestly have no idea how that even happens. That game winning sequence was impossibly stupid. |

I like Bortuzzo but that hit was late, dirty, cheap or whatever else you want to call it. Lets not kid ourselves if that was on 87 there would be at least 15 pages of outrage by now.
Hope is is ok. The only positive is that we won't have to read the trade for Jagr posts anymore. |
