I heard he's been in the press box several times this season. Flyers pushing him to consider retiring?

Tonight it is 5 straight healthy scratches.

Vinnie feels slighted, and that he was playing well. He denies being a problem/ playing poorly.

The rest of the world thinks he looks like poop.

The guy is not worth a contract of 4.5 pennies, let alone millions.

Retirement would be the best option for the Flyers. I hope they scratch him, until the retires, can trade him for a square of tp, or until his contract expires.

Bad attitude, and blaming everyone else.

Hank has had games where he shows why he's considered one of the best goalies in the league and games that have me begging for cam friggin talbot to start the next game. Typical hank though...he's inconsistent consistently every year until February. Then he locks in.

He will get going eventually. It's became a bad habit starting of the year so bad. Better try to snap out of it.

I dont understand the thinking here. Vinny was signed by you guys for that moronic contract and now you expect him to pack it up and walk away from 20 million dollars because of your mistake.
Vinny can still play, no way is he worth 4.5 but he can still help a team and he wants to play. Sitting him to try to force him to retire is beyond disrespectful.

He really can't help a team anymore... hence him being a healthy scratch for the past 5 games.

The team sucks and now he's exacerbating that situation by being generally terrible and expensive. The gap between his cap-hit and his performance is now a detriment to an already struggling team.

This is a business decision. You have to do what you can to protect your product.
