Stop taking away our scapegoats Ryan. This logic and stats crap is really starting to irk me.

still plenty of scapegoats around this board... blame [disco][adams][scuds] could be a board motto!

Stats also don't show you his effort. He seems a little "la-di-dah" lately and much less physical than he was. He's also a waste on the PP if he doesn't stay in front of the net

So the process is going the way it should, but the production just isn't there. Sounds like a lack of continuity and talent due to a large amount of injuries and line shuffling because of said injuries.

Kuni is fine and his cap hit is awesome. He'll score more goals than a lot of 5M wingers. He also meshes well with both Sid and Malkin (not a easy thing to accomplish) so we can slot him wherever we want and he wont miss a step.

Like I said on the other blog, we are pretty set on RW with Horny, Bennett, Comeau and Downie. We just need another top6 LW and if we can stay healthy we'll have a pretty good roster.

(God I miss Dupuis)

Disco's system was crap. Scuds is done. Adams just tried to fight Geno and got bloodied up. Not scapegoats, just clowns.

Punches thrown between Adams & Malkin during morning skate. Adams left ice with towel over his mouth. Source:TIOPS.

Adams Fought Malkin? You silly guys, obviously it's just a thechnique to improve team spirit inside the locker room, Adams speciality, along with penalty kill.

I have to play devil's advocate as this was a talking point on the last blog. I'd be curious to see his even strength goals over the last 3 years or so as it seems hes mostly just producing on the powerplay since mid last season. Also, as others have alluded, what made Kunitz great was not just goals, it was the hard forechecking, digging pucks out of corners, and doing the heavy lifting for Sid. That's what's missing, imo.
