I was really racking my head to understand this. I feel kinda dumb. The "J-Train?" But I'm still not understanding the sun??! Lol - Dedshark
If you click on it and make it bigger, the side of the train cars say "hype train" |

Another big game on Friday. Could get even more seperation from the Pens who destroyed minny tonight. Bruins won. Rangers are in for a tough game with them coming up. - Cptmjl
The top 9 teams in the east have been playing very well (except maybe the Pens). I don't know how they can all keep this up. It looks like it will be a crazy second half. I'm just glad the Isles are in the thick of it! |

Tampa seems to have taken a step back. Very up and down team lately. |

Speaking of JT...if you have some time check out the Beginnings special on John Tavares. It's amazing how grounded he is... |

Man the ranger fans are salty. Why can't they just admit we pooped on them, and maybe Corsi and Fenwick actually do mean, well... a lot, in Hockey? |

Imagine they won tonight? All we would be hearing for the next week is how the rags are the best in NY. We dominated them and had puck possession all night. Time to give credit where credit is due blue skirts. We run this poop now. |

Strait was +1 in nearly 20 minutes on the ice. He was good by Strait standards. Although he did made a few good plays, it would be a slight exaggeration to say he was good overall, since he had to get bailed out a few times by his teammates. - JohnScammo
agree but better to have him play like that then previous...I'll take it as Cappy is gonna keep playing him... |

If Viz is healthy, he will play and Strait will sit. But it really looks like Dono will remain the odd man out unless there is another injury. Dono didn't play good at all the other night and was benched. I don't know what Cappy expects though; the poor guy never plays.
Strait has been playing better though. He looks more like he did the first season we got him over his past few games. He still is a huge down grade from Viz but if he keeps it up, he is a decent 7th defenseman. |

Great win but relax a little guys. Its game 43, not the stanley cup. Talk shat in June, not January. |

Next blog: WHO THE HELL IS CAM TALBOT??
Seriously, this Pens game is coming at the perfect time. No Rangers hangover and a good 2 days of rest before. The Barn should be rocking on a Friday night and we are always up to play these schmucks. Plus, the jet lag is long gone. It really sets up beautifully for us and I expect us to come out flying. |

Maatta being done for the year is big. Never root to see anyone get hurt (save for syphilitic human stool samples like Cooke) but that's a big cog in their defense that's done for the season. Good for the Islanders. |
