Good blog Dan, although I don't necessarily agree with this, " Regardless of the outcome this evening, the Islanders have a chance to show that they belong in this race."
I think you guys have shown from the beginning of the year you belong right where you are. As far as how the rest of the season pans out, anyone's guess. Selling your team a little short with that sentence though.
Unless its just the reverse psychology, you sneaky bastard. |

BIG GAME TONIGHT !
Islanders need to come out flying and hitting and play with a purpose.
That being said, the need to also play with some patients and make sure they play a smart defensive game as they are the road team and the rag$ will come out buzzing.
All in all this is what hockey in the middle of January should feel like in NY.
