I'm not hoping for injuries just seeing who people think are next up for injuries due to karma, hate, love, etc.
Since we've been dropping like flies.

- FlyersGrace

As long as you're hoping for injuries to Penguins or Maple Leafs, its ok.

So...Coburn needs to go?
- jmatchett383

Our best D lineup IMO would be...

MDZ-Coburn
MacDonald-Streit
Schultz-Schenn

5 years of LTIR relief.

Well, THAT kind of injury...

Nah.

Like...a loss of 1/2 of a finger or something. Something that won't really affect his quality of life too much, but that prevents him from playing hockey.

Lawson Crouse gets a lot of love. He's got skill, good player, but there's not a ton of production given where he's slotted.

Hmm. Alcohol poisoning. Didn't think it would be that easy.

Unfortunately, your wife knows where I live.

Who would rather have plugged in with a bunch of slugs - a young guy with potential who could suffer a major mental setback, or a guy who is what he is already?

- tangent_man

You are correct!

It would look so beautiful tonight bathed in the soft glow of the goal light.

I think Messrs Zepp and Emery should get the back of their necks rubbed up with Coppertone.

Agreed
Man, if we have to keep sucking, I would really happy to end up with the 3rd pick. A future top 4 of Hanifan, Sanheim, Morin and Ghost looks pretty good to me!

I think Holmgren took over a far worse team from Clarke than Hexy did from Holmgren BUT Hexy is far more handcuffed than Holmgren was and its not even close.
- nastyflyergirl

That is the real problem. There is so little wiggle room. We have plenty of pieces, but they don't fit terribly well together, and the prices on many of them are exorbitant.

People wanted MacDonald out so Colaiacovo could replace him. So CC gets in and gives up two breakaway goals in three games with awful positioning, and then gets hurt again. Meanwhile MacDonald's at 52 CF% since returning from his injury and the bloggers who used to call him one of the worst dmen in the league based on Corsi stats are nowhere to be seen.
- Feanor

He's ranked 6 out of 7 in terms of competition faced, and only 1 regular (Streit) gets more OZ-starts. On top of all that, he's still negative in term of CF-rel.

The team has been playing better 5V5 lately... AMac's CF have been pulled up by that. Berube's been sheltering him. You're kind of looking at that 52% number in a vacuum.

Probably. There might be a slide rule impact as well.
- Jsaquella

If there is any type of contract implication, then it's a slam dunk to call up Lauridsen. This game will be interesting tonight. I have a feeling something is going to happen.

I just want to see Emery grab Crosby and beat the snot out of him. I don't care how many goals he gives up in the game.

Wasn't implying that you were, G. It was that BiggE character.

I'll have to figure out a way to deal with him...

Del Zotto and Schults might be able to get you something. For me that would be good asset management as they were signed for really nothing. Say you get 3rd rounders i think it would be good deals.

If I recall correctly, that was hammarby who needed the glass tipped the other way.

I knew I should have consulted with him before giving E the pic.

I'd be ok with Fleury vs. Emery too...
