Ok I'll see your lower body injury & raise you a broken wrist;
My wrist you say with your right knee,
Well a shoulder surgery for your knee, blood clots for us both but a cancer will trump any type of mumps - do you have them yet? if you don't we will give them to you.
Hopefully an injury free game. (and a win for the Pens if you would be so kind - just forget about all that rivalry nonsense & have a night off). |

Good news: Its a night game, I'll be home to watch it
Bad news: Its a night game, I'll be home to watch it
All kidding aside, they need to sit Matt Read. There is no way that Jason Akeson could play any worse than Read is now. Sure Couturier had a bad game yesterday, but if I was him I'd look to my right, then to my left and then I'd tell coach clueless to go (frank) himself. |

There are so many players who deserve to sit, that they wouldn't be able to ice a team. No worries, within the next couple weeks everyone will be injured. Guys are dropping at a rate of one per game over the last 10 days. Nice to see in a poop sandwich season, they haven't changed up the old injury horsepoop.
Right now this franchise couldn't be further away from winning a Cup, if they were playing games on Jupiter. |

But Read has been playing through a high ankle sprain since Nov 1 (which doesn't really explain October, does it?), so there's his pass around these parts.
I'm sure Chief will keep that line together for a month hoping to force the chemistry.

Not sure I've ever been less excited for a Pens-Flyers game.
The good news is, I'm not sure they can play worse than they did yesterday. The bad news is, I could be wrong |

For me i understand that but then if your unproductive or even hurting the team I can't agree with the whole"toughing it out". When you decide you can play then if you play bad I say tough. |

The trouble is, Read's not only lost a step or two due to the injury, he's playing especially stupid. The play yesterday that lead to the Isles shorty, holy moly, was that just dumb.
Guy two feet away, you try to blast it through his shins? Ignore that Hamonic was hurt and could have been exploited, the decision making process was just so bad, it's in excusable |

The sad part is this team has no character. I am not saying to take dumb penalties but I see guys like Giroux, Couturier, Voracekgetting run at and we have no counter punch. I am ready to get a guy like Kassian. Skill and grit. For me Simmonds hasn't really provide the physicality he was supposed too. The Islanders fourth line sucked energy from this team after each goals by going out and hammering every player they could. |

Just saw the Coldcuts injury on the NHLN highlights...neat little piece of stickwork by the Isles player on that one.
G-g-groin injury...

He also killed anothyer play with a blind backhand pass from behind the net that went right up the middle clearing the offensive zone. Just not smart plays. |

They're all doing that crap, though. You know my thoughts on Read.

Vinny was wide open on the right point, too.
The Flyers play like a team that either has no plan, or have no confidence in the plan the coaches have given them so they just do whatever comes to mind out on the ice. |

Devils and Jackets both won last night!!!
I'm worried the Leafs are going to get McDavid. |
