Hmmm, interesting. I have hated many. Right now its definitely Crosby. It's not because of his skill. It's because of his antics, he dives, whines, runs and hides from a fight, his crackling teenage voice during interviews. He is just a weasel.

I used to hate Kovalev and Kasparaitis.

I also couldnt stand Tyler Kennedy and his pig face. So glad he isnt a Penguin anymore.

Just saw the call ups. Manning is no surprise but I was hoping for Hagg as the other call up. Apart of me was hoping for an emergency call up of Samuel Morin.

I notice Raffl always getting knocked on his ass, but I hear you..at least he seems to be trying to get in there. Simmonds IMO is the only real " physical" threat. He is always in someone's face after a whistle or crease scuffle. They need more grit and balls on their top 9.
I hate to say it but it wouldn't hurt to have Rosehill here for a few games. Couldn't be worse than Rinaldo.

- 3flyerkids

See I could care less about that. Look at that 4th line yesterday. The chances they created is because they pounded everyone on the ice. They aren't you most skilled guys but they can skate and create chances of the phsical play. I know simmonds can get in a face of someone after a whistle or scuffle. But i want more between whistle phsyicality. Hartnell for all his faults could make some physical plays during game play that could change moment or create energy. i don't see that from Simmonds.

Team might be dead but doesn't mean you can't come out and play a tough game. There are guys that are going to be on this team next year. Would be nice to see some character.
- J35Bacher

If this team can't come out with engery against the Pens then this current roster needs to be turned upside down after the all-star break. No matter how bad things have been, we could always count on a good effort against the Pens.

Playing the Flyers has always meant more for Pens fans than Flyers fans.

Most Pittsburgh sports fans have struggled growing up in the 4th most important city in Pennsylvania, so they had to go to great lengths to manage the epic chip they maintain on their shoulders.

- johndewar

Yup it's like the Eagles and Cowboys. To Eagles fans the rivalry is huge, but to Cowboys fans it's always the Redskins that draw the most hate.

I expect a huge game out of Couturier. I love when he gets under Malkins skin.

Just for fun, Most Hated Penguin ever; and why??
- nbartley9

Cooke gets an honorary mention, but my two most hated Pens ever have to be (its a statistical tie) Ulf Samuelsson and Tom Barrasso. Neither one should require an explanation.

My favorite Pens story (and I can only hope its true) is that his teammates used to refer to the former goalie as Barr@sshole.

I'm all for Jay Rosehill returning to stay. Some see the title "enforcer" and deem the guy useless. Rosehill can somewhat play. For me it's as simply as get Chris Stewart. He's not a perfect player but he has skill and you automatically get tougher.

Everyone enjoying life without Braydon Coburn and Nick Grossmann?

Asking for a friend.

- johndewar

The team was playing lights out with those guys. Are they missing? I can't honestly tell the difference.

I think Hartnell is definitely missed. Our top 2 lines had a physical presence. Not anymore...it is just Simmonds. Too much for one guy. Team is all round too soft. Need more grit in top 9 and a Dman that is a mean SOB

Not sure I've ever been less excited for a Pens-Flyers game.

The good news is, I'm not sure they can play worse than they did yesterday. The bad news is, I could be wrong

- Jsaquella

This made me smile.

If our D keeps dropping hurt I have no clue what they are going to do. I feel like I need a hug or something.

The team was bad with those guys.

They are pretty much a hopeless wreck without them.

3 guys are playing on this blueline right now that NO ONE wanted.

I would definitely take Stewart for a pay cut next year. He would bring additional edge to the top 9 and he is a buddy of Simmonds

I think a lot of key pieces are missed. You can't help what has happened to Kimmo Timonen but Scott Hartnell and Peter Laviolette are absolutely missed and that's on management.

I like Chris Stewart but the Sabres would want 1st rounder for him. I also like Marcus Foligno but again probably asking a lot. I would like to get Kassian out of Vancouver. He has been a healthy scratch so i wonder what it would take.

I would trade for him just to talk to him, same as Steve Mason. Stewart probably isn't getting the raise he expects but I'd pay three million for one year to see how he responds.
