That was the most insane occurrence of the whole night. Called up a designated tough guy and he decides to square off vs a Euro softer player, prob licking his chops.. Euro knocks him down... Obviously not a good goon. - Hextall271
When he goes back to the AHL, I'm sure he won't hear a word about that. |

Luke Schenn deserves a ton of credit for his play on the PK. Logged over 9 minutes with a man down. |

Michael Del Zotto might be the most bi-polar player the Flyers have had in some time. - johndewar
Know what, he took a couple of penalties, one was pretty dumb, the other bad luck. He's been playing really well lately. The Vandevelde goal doesn't happen if he doesn't make a real smart shot low to the ice and not so hard that Vandevelde couldn't tip it. He knew exactly what he was doing there. He also played well on the PK along with MacDonald. Both had strong games overall, the penalties aside for Del Zotto.

Considering his parents, I'm sure he'll have a gift for getting into trouble. |

I hope Hexy sees the light. This is Flyers Hockey. - SuperSchennBros
im sure many on here are more versed in the fancy stat language than I am, but i dont think its a coincidence the shot totals turned on their head almost immediately once rinaldo was thrown out. |

I told y'all that the Pens invent ways to lose to the Flyers.
Goalie hides puck in jersey, puck rolls free.. Blind ref who couldnt see poop the whole game saw that. Fantastic. - Doc_Sarcasm
Haha I know right?! |

Absolutely along with Del Zotto and MacDonald. Manning played a solid game as well.

He'll probably go down to Wheeling after that
And play 4th line behind their main goon Chaz Johnson who only hits from behind

i really thought amac could exhibit many of the same qualities for you. maybe not quite the puck mover, but he never struck me as a slouch in that category. and he had a good bit more shot blocking on his resume. - stayinthefnnet
MacDonald had another strong game. I don't think MacDonald is as good as Martin though.

They are going to do the Flyers a favor and suspend Rinaldo for about 5 games. I can't stand him at this point. |

Tell me he isn't saying the Flyers played too mean...I used to like JR but he was a Flyer.. it's embarrassing. - Hextall271
I still love JR. I don't think I've ever seen a Flyer take as much punishment as he did as a skilled player and still manage to show up every night. You had to pretty much drop a house on him to keep him off the ice. |

he was. but still. (frank) sill. utter joke and useless player.
end of the day though. pens have no one to blame but themselves. reffing in this game sucked. but it sucked all around. they got 6 calls. did nothing with them. if you go 0 for 6 in a game you deserve to lose. plain and simple. - stayinthefnnet
Especially against the Flyers PK. I still don't believe it.
