He needs to stick to his wind ups when he is hitting a one timer...but just flying in the zone and trying to blast one....I agree isn't working at this level.
I don't really see it as messing with the fourth line...I see it as more of a promotion for miller and glen and a demotion for Weiss lol....I can't help but feel that Weiss is franzen 2.0....talented but always leaving you wanting a bit more.... |

i hope last year was a special case as kenny panicked with all the injuries as he thought team would miss the playoffs until Nyquist saved his ass.
This season hes not nearly as desperate. But, its been clear all season they need a defenseman whose right handed and can shoot it. |

(frank)ing clown? This is good news. I'd rather sit tight and keep our kids than trade for an upcoming ufa just to push for the cup this year only.
You're the type who can't be pleased. Throw a fit we trade good players, throw a fit if we don't. |

nope the roster is nearly set for a run. again, they need a right handed defenseman. 2 ideally. nice assumptions though. |

Yeah but even though Holland isn't dealing with a bunch of injuries, other GMs aren't going to give him the players he wants. They will try to get more then what he paid for Legwand from him. Buffalo wants a package that you would expect for an elite player for Myers and he isn't elite. Washington likely won't move Green if they have a shot at the playoffs and if they do move him, they will likely want a lot for him too. There is Franson from the Leafs but I think they are now trying to re-sign him. The only other ones would be Petry (they wanted Helm or Sheahan earlier this season for him) or Michalek from the Coyotes who I'm not sure fits the need for the Wings.
Other than those guys, I don't know of anybody else that could fit the needs of the Wings that might be available. With plenty of teams looking for defense and so few options, the prices will be high. All these guys aside from Myers could end up walking at the end of the season leaving the Wings paying a big price for a rental...which is what they did for Legwand. |

OK smart guy. Whos this right handed defenseman KH is unwilling to trade for and thus creates your frustration making him being an ass clown right? Who? Because the post above me highlights the flaws in your stupid comment |

Really? Extremely immature approach to debate your initial comment. Learn some grammar, this post looks like an 11 who just learned t9
And no I don't want to "blow him" haha, but I'm pretty happy with the team he built and I don't exactly wanna trade some of our best prospects for a right handed defenseman like you suggested. |

A trade is not the answer. Sit tight let the kids develop more and see what happens at the draft and in UFA. This team can win the east as it stands now. |

Weiss, Andersson, Pulkkinen together on a line? Probably wont be seeing much ice time.
Is it just me or does it seem that whatever line Tatar plays on seems to be the most productive? Tats - Pav - Helm was a wicked line, Tats - Sheahan - Nyquist too |

Pulkkinen with the cannon. Weiss is still a very good distributor. |

If you think KH can attain a solid right handed defenseman without parting with one of our better prospects your delusional
Which is why I asked and you clearly dodged, who is it you think he's an ass clown for not trading to get? All season long we've discussed ideas on who to trade for and who it might cost. Seems like You have no input other than dissing KH. So unless you have a real idea, I'll continue to say your comment is stupid and you should keep it to yourself. |

Helm really starting to look like the player he was before his string of injuries. Good for him, good for the Wings |

Man digibath, you have been around long enough to take Wings for what he is.
Actually, I was thinking he was on some antidepressants or something. He hasn't been this "pleasant" in many moons.
Could have something to do with the standings. |

It's comical you were the one who ripped him yet have 0 to say to back up that he's doing something wrong, Dodge the question entirely about who he should trade for, and then deflect by making fun of me for liking holland?
If that's the best you got I'm not impressed. Makes you look really stupid. |
