I have to agree with you about G'n'R, that album is top notch and it is a shame Axel was such a lunatic.

Agree with some of what u say.
It was mellow and the captains seemed to be having a good time anyway.

but the announcers push too much for meaning and importance to it. The players really don't give a fuk so Stop asking them stupid questions.

embarrassing is certainly not the right word, but it did get awkward at times.

by far the best thing about the draft was that absolute smokeshow blond in the black dress handing out the jerseys. Someone needs to find out who she is so I can see more of her

I like GNR well enough, but the idea that Illlusion is better than any Zeppelin or Sabbath album is dubious. The idea that REM is the greatest band to walk the earth I think is probably shared by yourself and Michael Stipe.

I was trying hard to find out last night and wasn't able to find out who she was. She was stunning for sure.

Yeah, I agree. The time has passed - and I thought Chinese Democracy was pretty good actually - but I used to hope pretty hard for the band to reunite. It's weird, I have been listening to that record since I was like ten years old and no matter how my musical styles have evolved, I always go back to it.

Hey, It's just my personal opinion - I ain't trying to convince anyone. Although, I am pretty sure you'd be surprised how many people consider REM to be ranked that high.

As for GNR being better than Zeppelin - I will say this: I love Led Zeppelin, but I will listen to any GNR song right this second and enjoy it - where as at least half the Zeppelin catalouge has been overplayed to the point where I do not want to hear those songs ever again.

however, If I made a top 20 Houses of the Holy might sneak in at #19

Agreed that the announcers were sometimes annoying, but whatever, announcers have been trying to ruin hockey forever. I tried to just focus on the fun stuff - totally agree though.

I do the same, my favorite song is Estranged. I didn't really like Chinese Democracy, in my opinion G'n'R died after Use Your Illusion.

Murmur and Reckoning were both Mint REM albums...way better than Document..oh well.. I found Ovechkin quite obnoxious last night..

Murmur will be making an appearance much higher in this list. Document is superior to Reckoning, in my opinion. However, its a little like picking a favorite kids. I think even minor REM records are masterpieces.

Hey Tanner I posted this in your last blog, not sure if you saw it though...

I was at the game last night, and Domi showed off why people talk about how good his hands are.
It doesn't show it in the clip, but the Sarnia goalie laid down on his knees near the blue line for about 2 minutes after this goal was scored, and just hung his head totally embarrassed as the crowd laughed its collective asses off.

Gonna miss seeing him on our ice next season
