Mackinnon is pretty good even though he's in a sophomore slump but that's normal. Mackinnon is everything the oilers were hoping Yakupov would be. But I don't think mackinnon is being shopped unless he is, is he?

Point is, im talking full tear down...probably 5-7 years. His deal is up next year, do you resign him? he can be replaced IMO. Im not saying hes not good.

he is affordable and may fetch more than if he was a rental as he's there for next year too.
