We all know his goal is to make the playoffs but we won't get out of the first round. Let's face it get some picks or trade some of our third liners (half the team) and get some prospects that are further along like Clendenning. How is he doing in today's game anyways?

He's been meh so far, nothing great, nothing bad. It's his first game though and it usually takes defensemen longer to get comfortable with new linemates and the system than a forward or goalie.

I think he has looked decent. He is extremely composed on the offensive blueline. Most of our guys just throw it into shin pads when they are under pressure where he makes a quick move to crest space. Great trade.

All in all, the team looks old, slow and uninspired.

well the good news is that Minny is one of the teams chasing us so handing them 2pts without much of a fight goes well towards a tank.

We have an old slow first line. An untalented second line . We have 4 x third liners

I'm strongly opposed to a tank. It's a slap in the face to the veteran players and season ticket holders. Also, what kind of example is that setting for the kids in the lineup. Sell a few 3rd liners ans a goalie and try and aquire a couple second rounders for them. Let the kids from Utica take their spots. You never know, with a little youthful enthusiasm infused into the lineup we might just make the playoffs.

i think CGY, LA, DAL, COL, FLD, PHI, MIN, OTT can all pass us.

Leafs are tanking like Mofo's so i don't think they'll catch us. Buf, Edm, Arz, CBJ, Car, NJ are locks for the top 6.
