Anyone notice how the NHL slips in this poop where they call goal...then huddle talk and take it back? The closest ref just feet away calls goal. If the other ref at the other end thinks he saw something from there... in the discussion the closest ref should confirm or correct the guy 100 feet away. Instead what you have is him being told that his eyes are no good at 10 feet away and they will take the goal back. That's crooked as poop.

It's clearly manipulation of the results when they do this. You can see they are wrong...one of the two refs could see... yet the huddle comes up with a bullpoop version of what happened and no goal decided. This (frank)ing league is so corrupt.

I don't get why the goal was overturned. A lot of the goals scored today are scored when there are scrambles in the crease. As long as the player in the crease is not interfering the goalies movement through direct contact, it should be a goal.

The goalie exaggerated his movements to sucker in a ref 100 feet away and it worked... in fact, if he didn't take the split second to show that little drama, he probably would have stopped the shot...

Just watched the whole highlight package. Looks like horvat has gotten much more accustomed to the speed of the game. Hansen looked like a chicken with no head. Bonino needs someone toplay with.

I agree - you've gotta love these anthem singers who just have to perform their very own - often significantly extended, disjointed (and even out of key), way, WAY over the top, non time signature conforming 'interpretation' of said music. I'd love to see them go all the way - i.e. perform a ska version, or how about a thrash metal style, or even a bee-bop free form jazz style. It would be much better than having to listen to these mini-aural spectacles. I guess it's that whole 15 minutes of quasi-fame thing. Frankly, I often feel embarrassed listening to these musical monstrosities (I'd take Roseanne's interpretation - at least it had a sense of irony)
