Seriously I think I like the show better than the books. - thundachunk
The show is more focused, the plot is tighter. They also take some artistic liberties with the books to get there, not all of which enhance the show other than to shock IMO. |

Hey guys, first post here. Though I have been reading the Canucks blogs and comments for some time.
I doubt we would get someone from Edmonton. It is very hard to get a top 6 forward from within the same division unless the player is forcing. Edmonton would not want to give us something that would make us a huge threat once they fix their team and start pushing for playoffs. As the Arizona GM said "when you’re sitting with our record, and we’re three or four worst records in the league, then everybody is up for grabs.” With this we could assume Carolina is thinking the same thing. Maybe we can use this to make a trade attempt on Jeff Skinner. His numbers last year were top six with a fairly bad team, and with his play this year price may have dropped a little bit. Give up some young players and vets for a young play? Just a though.
With the controversy about next years cap, Bettman said in an interview yesterday during intermission of the Canucks game that the lowest he could see it go would be $71,750,000 or so, but will likely stay around $72m. Hopefully this puts a rest to all the bickering about next years cap for the time being. - Retinalz

Welcome to the mayhem sir You'll spend many sleepless nights wanting to murder several people on this website - vancity787
Luckily I won't lose sleep over it. I work in a call centre so if I can handle that these guys are nothing. But it was reading posts by people who obviously have an IQ below 80 that made me decide to start an account. |

What do people think of this D-man we have playing for Kingston name Mceneny.
they were doing a profile on Lawson Crouse and he got brought up.
Apparently he is under contract, thanks to gillis, and has decent numbers.
Decent size as well.
I didn't know anything about this kid. - classic321
I'd be surprised if he gets resigned by the Canucks.

Have you seen The Wire and The Sopranos? Definitely up your alley if you liked Breaking Bad. |

Yeah Benning was probably shaking his head like what kind of idiot GM (Gillis) signs an undrafted player the year of his draft who wasn't listed on any scouting lists.
NO GM does that, give him a few years and hope you can sign him if he turns out decent.

The Wire is one of the best crime series of all times(won awards often)...good acting great characters and performances and it's based on a real neighborhood's criminals and cops. There's another show just like it called "the Corner"

Interesting lil tidbit for you: Breaking Bad has 62 episodes. The 62nd element on the periodic table is Samarium, which is used to treat lung cancer. |

I actually watched the Kingston game last night, also seen him in highlights this season. He reminds me a lot of Tanev but more physical is his own end. Nothing flashy but gets the job done. Could turn out to be a good 3-4 D for the canucks. He has been progressing each year. |

That show had some fierce symbolism going on. Everything from outfits to language to music to gestures...work of art.
The Wire is still by far my fav though
Oz a close second along with band of bros and Generation Kill. |

I'd be surprised if he ever plays a game at the NHL level. I hope he's Tanev but.......
He is built like a brick shlt house though.
Has an assist tonight. 31 pts on the season. Didn't realize he had that many points this yr |
