I agree, but it's funny how he escapes criticism from fans/media unlike the rest. There's a reason why this guy was on the 3rd and even 4th on the Florida Panthers. He's a big, but not physically aggressive offensive 4th liner on a contender.

Not like WD has better choices but at this point they should move out a vet(Higgins preferably) and give Jensen a look.

Isn't the problem with most of the team is lack of grit and hitting?

The guys that bring the hitting and grit the most are the undersized players.

Ignoring the Sedins and Vrbata, Burrows and Hansen could hit more, Richardson is okay, Matthias and Kassian don't really like to hit and Matthias less than Kassian... Higgins doesn't hit much...

On D, it is only Sbisa and Bieksa who hit a bit.

We miss Torres and his type of play.

I like Matthias on the PK, but I am all for giving Jensen a chance and expect him to be called up later if Benning can move a forward or two.

We have too many players that are like Higgins, they can be slotted into these roles for a short duration but are not the long term answer... and yet that is what we have been running with.

I miss Carol.

I hate the SB pre-game shows so I loved that the Nucks game was on right up until close to kickoff time.

Nothing to report. They are speculating like we are. Might be true based on his character and that's all we have at this point.

Our media wouldn't hold back on that if they knew it happened in the middle of all his controversy. They haven't in the past... why now? In fact, if they were worried about being punished by management for it, they wouldn't speculate at all... that's worse than reporting fact if repercussion is the issue.
