I totally agree. I have two cousins who are university teachers, two cousins that teach high school and one who cousin who teaches grade 4 all in brandon here and they say the same thing, it is a joke. It doesn't help that the kids are so lazy. I've seen some of the high school work and these kids use short form all the time. Some papers look more like text messages.

Yea, they just don't care. And the curriculum is so dumbed down that it isn't stimulating for the people who are going on to university. I developed so many bad habits because school was never difficult enough to force me to try. All I had to do was show up and listen with half an ear open and that was enough to do well. Same habits carried over into uni although my grades dropped a bit, but it was never severe enough that I had to change my habits

We had 14 bottles of sake Friday night between 4 of us. Sake hangover is something else.

Can we trade Higgins now that he has scored and on a hot streak.....I mean come on. On our team if you haven't scored in 4 games you have to drop the mitts in the 5th game. If not you get your jockey tampered with or something really really bad. you would be surprised how many guys start scoring.....

We need to sign Matthias. He does it all. Then we also need someone to punch out Robidas or anyone else who cheap shots our team.

I missed 20 days of math class in grade 11 just skipping and still passed the final. They failed me for missing so many classes even though I made 86% on the test. "attendance is 25% of your mark". If it is not difficult they shouldn't force you to be there and disturb the kids who are finding it difficult. Big time, it's dumb. In the western world we get so caught up with the idea of privilege that we lose sight of what actually makes sense. Yes, it's great that we can all get an education but what does that education really mean if it consists of 12 years of babysitting and handholding? Same with the vote. I don't vote because I don't pay enough attention to local politics to feel that my vote contributes anything to the political discussion. Equality for equality's sake is extremely inefficient

Just scanning through Twitter this morning, apparently there are rumours of another Canucks deal almost complete. People are tip toeing around it but it sounds like it could be another deal with the Blackhawks again. No names mentioned, but I will throw this out there: Kassian + for Sharp?
