Unless the Flyers are offered a 1st round pick or good prospect, which is unlikely, I think they should hang onto MDZ. He's young enough to be a part of this retool/rebuild and has potential still. He's not going anywhere as a restricted free agent and if he were they'd be able to match or get compensation anyway. Work on moving out Coburn and Grossman at the deadline.

OH yes yes they are

Hamilton sucks. completely over rated. slow and doesn't make good plays/ reads. they should dump this guy while the rest of the league still thinks he can be a top pairing guy. in fact the Bs should trade him plus a 3/4th round pick for a 2nd in this years draft plus a serviceable dman Del Zotto (?) to Philly. Hamilton was a hyped first rounder player so maybe hextall bites.

Chara is long in the tooth and needs to go. trade Chara, Erickson (sp?), plus prospect and 2nd rounder to philly for Simmonds + both Schenn brothers. Bs save 1.5 mill on the cap, plus get younger. they get two forwards for 1 and a serviceable dman.

subban is an interesting trade chip and everyone knows Philly needs goalchie help.
