I'm always amazed when the blog gets comments before I've even finished my proofread. Thanks!

was it just me or did it seem like the linesmen got in the way/ hit by the puck A LOT last night??? certainly gave Nash a step on his goal... |

If Benning trades Matthias it better be for a high price. He has developed into what everyone hoped Kassian would be. Get him signed. |

Nash goal was just pure bad luck, the linesman completely blocked the puck while the Canucks were transitioning up the ice. |

A point Friday would extend Horvat's streak to six games, the longest by a Canucks rookie since Pavel Bure went eight games from Feb. 17-March 2, 1992. |

Sadly, no. Too bad—should be a good show. Enjoy!

Yup. And I'm not sure that video-review wasn't another slice of bad luck. It was hard to tell where the puck was, but it could have been over the line underneath Marc Staal.
I really like it when they can gut out wins even when the hockey gods are against them.

You kind of get the feeling he will too. Nice to see young guys get a chance and have success.

We may have sold low on Schneider, but Horvats play has made this deal pretty even for us. |

I still think Staal had it under him in the net and passed it out to Talbot... If Talbot had it the whole time why wouldn't he show it to the refs right away to avoid the video replay and such... |

its really nice to see the boys get another "blue collar" win... Just wanted it more than the rangers...
That said, to say Miller looked shaky at times would be an understatement. The St. Louis goal? yuck.
I'm not a father, so I wouldn't know, but could the impending birth of his child be distracting him?!? |

For sure we sold low. Gillis boxed himself into a corner with his arrogant stance on Luongo and pretty well had the rest of the league laughing at him.

Let's not go too far here. I am a Matthias fan but he is not a top 6 power forward yet. If he keeps up his accelerated pace then we may see him get 20 this season but he is also known for showing up in the spring but being absent for most of the year |

This deal always had a chance of being a long term win but at the time we should have gotten more considering the impact it had on us in the short term |

I'm not big on throwing praise on the Sedin's, Burrows, Miller and Co. That's the expectation that goes with the big salaries an NTC's. The rookies that are taking advantage of an opportunity is good to see. |

Last time Mama Lack was in town Miller started the game.
This time she brought the whole Lack-Pack.
No way Willie denies him this time. |

Honestly I wouldn't be apposed to giving him 3-3.5mil I just love his game that much, but I think he won't be asking for about 3mil. |

He has size. Getting rid of Matthias and Kassian is not good for a team with playoff aspirations.

Kenins has effectively replaced Kassian, showing more heart and effort in his 9 game stint then Kas has in four years.
Get a 2nd or 3rd for him while permanently freeing up a roster spot.
