He was my hero, maybe if he hadnt torn the ACL he could have kept up and played into his 40's like Timmo and the other elite D.

But the new rules with no impeding the forecheckers make me realize, he would have had his shoulders and noggin messed up b4 the new head shot rules.

He made a statement, kind of in passing yesterday, that he wanted to still play, but remain a Flyer. That kind of tells me the Flyers were going to move on from him, and he didn't want to sign somewhere else.

While everyone gets their panties in a bunch over Rinaldo playing, mind you I dont think he should be, Im interested to see if Couturier actually does something now.

Hopefully having Jake and a better playing Read will now give him some threats so we can actually see what he can do offensively. Would be great for the future of this team if he can contribute offensively as we already know he is solid defensively.

Rinaldo is back, how can he possible think that is a good idea? Is he really going to give him 10+ minutes of ice, because if he isn't then he is shorting the rest of the line.

Also, right now, I feel like this is a team with a group of guys who suddenly can't play the game. They didn't get here and all of the sudden forget what to do or where to be on the ice. Some of this has to be on the players for poor execution, but I am wondering how much of this is a poor plan.
If you execute a poor plan perfectly, you might survive. But if you execute a poor plan poorly or don't buy into the plan, you get a brush fire that turns into half of California up in flames.

Doubt it. Boedker is the kind of guy that would be a great fit on the 2nd line. Reminds me a lot of where Jake was at before being dealt.

Maybe swap out one of the 3rds for a 2nd if you don't think its enough.
