I don't see them taking on his 6 mil contract. They need to re-sign some Free Agents in the summer and little cap room

I would like to see them move Eric Staal but I doubt it happens. Do they extend him after next season or move him at the trade deadline next season. I think he has more value at this trade deadline but who is to say. He has gone quite stale in Carolina. |

Really? I was thinking Eric to the Leafs for two 1sts (which become an 80 point forward and a top pairing D man) so that in 5 years time they could realize they had built their team around the wrong player and tear the whole thing down again. "Thus is the life cycle of the maple leaf"

I have heard Canucks name linked to having interest in Jeff Skinner. Concussion problems , injury prone , ....Thoughts?

Skinner might be worth some risk...still alot of upside regardless of injuries. Played 71 games last year and 53 this year so far so not so bad.
Would rather see him here than Eriksson...
