Yeah I know.. Oh well though. I only get about 22 right now, I'm guessing I'llbe seeing 18 as tops. - znagle
That's about right. Giant mud tires will cost you. You can probably squeeze out a few more MPG with nice Duratracs or something like that. |

"If we trade for Winnik, Bergenheim, and Emerson Etem and then Duper comes back, the fourth line would be Spaling, Comeau, and Eager."
"Tlusty is good. I would like Tlusty. He is from the same area of the World as Jarome Jagr."
"Brandon Sutter is some kind of tapeworm who, perhaps by the influence of the moon, can score miraculous wrist shot goals like Valeri Kamensky but otherwise has the make and feel of Darby Hendrickson."
"Pittsburgh is super l33t. Super l33t. Just in a slump for a month. You don't have any faith. You're a bad man."

I've been supplanting Downie's name with Eager as a mental experiment among you hockey fans for months. You're the first to notice, and I have reason to believe my posts are trolled just a bit more than some. |

Well, they are only one inch larger than the Sport/Sahara etc. editions. MPG really doesn't bother me. I've filled all my cars with premium as well as they have been sport cars. I figure 5 MPG difference is only around what, 2 gallons or so indifference each fill up in difference. |

If MAF collapses in the postseason again, the Penguins are completely and utterly screwed. He will be unmovable with that contract. I personally think he will continue playing well, but there is risk with that contract until he has another good postseason. - jfkst1
I think MAF will be the least of our worries. Sure he let in some bad goals but Disco's system was a goalie killer. Consistently wanting both D men to go into the corner to retrieve pucks is great when it works but it's a 2 on 1 out front when it doesn't |

1. Lets trade all of our defensive prospects for bums.
2. Lets trade all of our bad roster players for their good roster players.
3. Penguins are going to lose in the first round
4. Crosby and Malkin suck
5. Beau Bennett is injury prone
6. Carolina fan thinks we are trading our whole team for Tlusty.
i think that should cover it. - SuperHenderson13

The team seems to play better structured defense than with Bylsma- which is encouraging because you can't win in the postseason trying to outscore opponents. But, Fleury's improvements in positioning and rebound control seem to have something to do with Bales too. |

Sayin, he's from the next town up the highway. That's as good a tie-in as seems necessary around here. |

I don't think Mike Johnston has the balls to tell Jarome to do anything. I think Jarome walks right into that room, sits down in the stall to the right of Evgeno, and never is thus far removed. Whoever's stall that was can change n the hallway, like JS Aubin. |

Wrangler Sport Unlimited. 2D, V6. 2013 model. I needed a vehicle I could use in town but could also ford a medium stream. If you know how to do some basic maintenance, go for it.
Edit: Oh, and it's loud as hell on the highway even with the hard top on the back. I have to really crank the volume to hear stick noises during the game. - Johnny Wrath

Dont mean to be repetitive...but Maroon/Silfverberg/Etem/Beleskey + would be a good start...Gives us a little cap flexibility as well. - YouMeAndDupuis9
I would trade kunitz for Silverberg and etem. Throw BB in there for maroon. Like u say depth n cap space. I think etem brings speed n has just not been able to get a shot because Anaheim is so deep. |

You're really not seeing any of my point.
Also: slump is an sudden, unexpected severe drop. The Pens from their bad stretch starting ~December 22 until their last game, February 22, are 12-15. Twelve and fifteen. This is not sudden nor unexpected. - Johnny Wrath
Your point was that we should be sellers because you don't think we can win the cup.
My point was that while we may not be the best team right now, we have the potential to be one of the best. And all it takes is for the team to get hot at the right time.

I rather thought that your point was that you were happy that I wasn't the GM of the Penguins because teams who wish to make deep playoff runs don't sell their parts.
My point was that no matter who else is on the team, if the average combined points per game of Sid and Evgeno aren't around 4, the team will lose the hockey game. That's true whether or not the team still has Martin, Or Sutter, or Kunitz, or Ehrhoff as opposed to selling them off and playing Pouliot, Lapierre, Spaling, or Harrington. They won't be any worse and the 2 superstars will have to carry either configuration of the team like pack mules. |
