I am far from an expert but I am not a believer in Virginia, likely due to their massively boring style of play.

I went a bit crazy and took Oklahoma in that section.

I root like crazy for Gonzaga as they are the only other team I follow aside from the Sabres, but they have been disappointing recently with regards to making a deep run.

What if they kept the pick and had Hanifin, O'Reilly, and a high pick next year due to the probability they will not be making the playoffs and with the new draft lottery rules kicking in, they could get lucky?

Edmonton is no longer interested in rebuilding. They will not trade Hall for 2 firsts, outside the first 2 picks. Kane plays LW. Varone is not a 4th liner. McCormick is still signed. Deslouriers will play with one of Kaleta, Shaller or other FA. Varone is not a checker. 4th line is as important as first line. See LA. Their roles are different yet equally as important.

Edmonton needs a stud dman like Hanifin. If we get caught at 3 and they get 2. I do whatever is necessary to swap.

2 firsts and a prospect gets any team interested and until EDM has a proven #1 D they will always be rebuilding...Players flip-flopping wings isn't unheard of....Varone isn't good enough to crack those top 3 lines on a regular basis...McCormick could rotate in...never said 4th line isn't important, just said its a wash b/c we have so many people who could fill the spots...and i'm aware of the role of the 4th line...

they wont swap... they will just trade one of eberle, yak, or RNH for a first line dman. Eichel or Mcdavid would be the best forward on the team. Yes better than even Hall. why would they give that up?

Gonzaga has a pretty soft bracket, and would have to beat only Duke to get there. I'm not impressed with Duke this year at all, and I'm not a Duke hater, even before I watched "I hate Christian Laettner".

I mean maybe... But NPH and even Eberle have got to be worth a lot. So unless they would put him in the class of D like Weber, Doughty, etc I doubt they trade him.
