"We just roped-a-doped them. I think they got tired going in our offensive zone for the whole period."

I call this the "Inverse Park the Bus" Strategy. It results in stiff necks from only looking one way for 20 minutes at a time.

Good reed. Lindback and Hackett might be a good thing going into next season.

It was only his third win of the season for him and first as a starter.

And this is why I am not worried.

The odd thing is that if we had a three point lead in the President's Cup, everybody would be happy and excited to watch a great race. This is a different kind of "winning," and people are at risk of spontaneous combustion.

Their performance the last few games has been them playing their best hockey. When your best gets you out chanced 2:1 and requires Lindback to stand on his head, i wouldn't expect too many more wins (or points for that matter).

Tim Murray is going to have to start lopping limbs off of goalies at this point.

The only problem is that it's like the Ryan Miller "soft goal". It wasn't that he allowed more of them than any goaltender of his status. It just seemed to come at the worst possible time.

You and others should be, 12 games left is plenty of time for Nolan and this bunch to rip apart the future for this team.

I like Nolan and think he and his coaching staff should be retained

It always seems that way though, the Buffalo curse and what not. The default is apparently to accept that it will all fall apart, which is funny to watch considering they're still in last.
