I'm just stunned that they are screwing up the tank with so few games left.

I was thinking the same thing.

Nobody wants to play with a Lindback in a box

Yaay for lindback again wooo hooo! I cant possibly believe murray is happy with nolan. Or he has no intention on retaining hackett and it doesnt matter if he sees him get action or not.

I wasnt able to watch the washington game where hackett was pulled in. You would think after a bad outing a coach might want to get that guy back inbetween the pipes sooner than later, and get the shellacking out of his head quickly.

Not nolan, nope. Just leaning on players to squeeze out meaningless points, during a rebuild, where everyone is being evaluated. Except what could be a potential RFA goalie, with a team that does not have any stability regarding that position.

he supposedly had a growth spurt this year, coming into this season i saw him listed at 5'8 - 5'9". those numbers are quite often massaged, but they said the kid actually did grow. he still is undersized though if he is 165 pounds. i think i would probably rather have him than strome at this point, but i cant see him being able to play here next year.

not sure if murray would be interested. pretty clear he wants big and heavy, not sure where his line is- as far as talent vs size. thats not to say he wouldnt take the player they have higher on their board, but they may be more inclined to trade up or down because of fit.

Johnny Gaudreau seems to be doing ok at his size.

Nolan has been driving the wrong way down a one-way street all season, has managed not to get hit yet.

Its actually impressive.

Arizona is on board completely. Not the Sabres. Dumb on their part. This only needs to be done once and this is more of a once in a lifetime chance. Regardless, I think Arizona will win the lottery, so if they end up last, so be it. At least we get Eichel.

Yea i know where we are in the standings.

My animosity is shifting. I would never expect nolan, or any coach to try and lose. Starting your backup goaltender is not 'trying to lose' no matter what the fans think or want.

Hackett could go in and light it up, or get lit up. It makes no difference to this team right now. Im past whatever happens in the standings. This is supposed to be an evaluation period.

They have two goalies scheduled to be UFAs at seasons end. We have seen plenty of what lindback can do for now. Hackett would become RFA with a few more games played, creating more options for a team that has no stability at that position.

I'm not worrying until we are one point within 29th. Then I'll be on suicide watch

Hey i was more than supportive of the charles clay signing i even threw in a hooray

P.S a while back during the early hours of NFL free agency i mentioned how i'd rather the sabres get too close to losing 30th so we can talk about that instead of football.

So yea my bad guys
