our canadian markets are financially viable regardless. Toronto can be a bottom feeder year in and out and will still be the leagues richest team.
Edmonton has been a bottom feeder for ages and is an incredibly small market. still makes money and sells out year after year.
if I believed in conspiracy theories, Saving an American market and driving bettmans vision for the nhl in Arizona or Carolina etc could make sense I suppose. but not toronto

It could read in his contract that he start immediately in the NHL.

The night after the Bruins win, was the first time this season I got worried we might not finish last.
Arizona, Arizona, Columbus, Carolina, Toronto, Dallas and Colorado, I can see the sabres getting wins/points in these games. It will be an entertaining finish to watch.

It's smart. the sabres brass are showing they are not. Idk how fans of the sabres can be mad at the yotes, they're are doing exactly what the sabres have been doing for the past year. However, at this point they might be doing it better than us.
