Until I read another article stating that the Sabres are the most disgraceful team in sports history for trading their 2 UFA goalies and trading for a very talented forward who will be a beast next year, but since he's on IR it was a shameful move.

5-2 final. Arizona has a coach who is obviously on board with his GM. Smith has been playing well and they were playing a team with worse puck possession than them so they throw the rookie backup in. It worked out.

They must lose that game in regulation.

Is that 3 points in their last 17 games? There is no way we are finishing in 30th.

He has to be. ... Tippett is a good Coach, I don't buy them just falling off a cliff. . His job is prolly secure and is foaming at the mouth with the thoughts of adding McEichel

That's what I'm talking about. How come no one is all over the yotes, who actually have a coach who is tanking to the fullest extent? Seems like people are just afraid of what McEchiel could do with the kids we have already in the system and an open bank account, so they condemn us so if and when we get one of them, it'll be tainted.

17 or 18, I've lost track it is so bad. You'd expect to at least get to OT accidentally at least 2-3 more times than they have in that span, but they have 1 win and an OT loss

Well I said it at the beginning of the season, Nolan won't let them tank. Nolan has a bunch of hungry players now and I was afraid of this happening after the trade deadline.

They aren't that bad and Tippett is a good Coach. I agree we get blasted in the media but Arizona is the McEichel darlings. I find it very hard to believe them falling off the cliff. Not to mention it pretty much coincided with their announcement o their very own scorched earth rebuild. I believe it's now 18gms 34 available points, they've taken 3. With the way Ted is coaching we are very much in trouble.

Well they did trade Vermette, Yandle, and Michalek. Boedker was supposed to be back over a week ago and they decided to shelf him for the rest of the season instead. Those are players that could help them score goals. The advanced stats show that Arizona is still way better than Buffalo though.

Guys we still have the number 1 prospect pool and numerous high picks...if we dont get mcdavid or eichal it is going to suck, but it is not the end. we are still going to add a top notch prospect. also hopefully we have a real coach and lets see what happens. Worst thing we can do is keep crying and b1thchn setting ourselves up for ridicule.

Because of the media and every guy who watches the NHL and has access to making a blog (not the Buzz), this team will be the most hated club for years if we get McDavid. We're getting it bad now, but if we get him, regardless of finishing last or not, every sports writer under then sun will be saying how it was rigged in our favor, (which is ironic as most here think it is already rigged for Arizona) which will stir the pot even more.

Didn't someone here last week post the stat that we were projected to finish with a 4+/- point differential from our total last year, where as the oilers were 10+/- and the yotes somethign like 18+/- Maybe it was on TSN but :

Oilers 67 current 51
Yotes 89 current 50

If Buffalo loses their next two in regulation I'll feel much better about things. I think Arizona could win against Vancouver Sunday. Last time they played they beat them and they were all over them. The Jackets put up a 6-spot on them tonight.
