If Buffalo loses their next two in regulation I'll feel much better about things. I think Arizona could win against Vancouver Sunday. Last time they played they beat them and they were all over them. The Jackets put up a 6-spot on them tonight.

Yeah, but tippett will start a goalie from the beer league for that game, and he'll probably claim he's trying to increase his offense production with a unorthodox new system of playing with 6 skaters at all times when they play us. Just kidding, but when your coach is on board with the tank, anything is possible as we saw with tonights goaltending situation.

Guys we still have the number 1 prospect pool and numerous high picks...if we dont get mcdavid or eichal it is going to suck, but it is not the end. we are still going to add a top notch prospect. also hopefully we have a real coach and lets see what happens. Worst thing we can do is keep crying and b1thchn setting ourselves up for ridicule.

Pittsburgh had Crosby, Malkin, Staal, MAF and have only won ONE cup. Sure one would be great, but look at Pittsburgh. Four top choices and only one cup.

Chicago has won two. Two top pics and a bunch of great draft picks and moves.

The Kings also have two. Only one top pick. A defensemen. Kopitar was a great pick outside of the top picks. And LA made great moves.

It is HARD to win a championship. Not everyone does it. In my opinion, the biggest factor in winning a title in any sport, is luck.

We're not passing Edmonton and I doubt we sweep Arizona. Why does everyone think the Sabres are suddenly going to win all these games to put us in 28th or something? They have only won 1 game since the trade deadline just like the Yotes. They are still by far the worst team in the league according to Corsi numbers since the deadline as well. If Lindback drops down to a 'normal' .905 or so save percentage we don't win more than 2 or 3 games the rest of the season.

I have no problem with being called tankers but I hate when other teams are given a free pass like AZ and especially Toronto. That team is (frank)ing tanking big time and you don't hear a word about it in their media.

I mentioned it to one of Leafs writers on twitter the other night when they were getting their butts kicked by the Oilers and he said no, it's not quiting or tanking they have all just lost confidence

Agree gil..not directed at you but its like when you get in trouble for something and the first thing you say is "johnnys doing it too"..we are tanking...if someone out tanks us then kudos to them...should have gotten rid of nolan awhile ago. We should be grateful that the other teams didnt decide to tank long ago
