I dont get it...we all agree we are tanking and most are onboard, but we get upset when we get called out on it...then we get all worked up and complain that teams are "out tanking" us?.

Alongside the not wanting to lose at losing I feel like most are more or less complaining including myself that we're the only one getting kicked in the teeth nationally by the media for doing it. Having said all that I was also the one earlier that said get used to this idea now.

The only way I'd be ok with Marner is if we get ROR on draft day as well. People were saying how small Reinhart was and how he needed to get bigger to play in the NHL. He is 2 inches taller and outweighs Marner by 35 lbs. At least with ROR we'd have one guy over 200 lbs. up the middle.

If the Sabres finish 29th they still have a 1 in 3 chance of getting McEichel. This is what I'm going to rock myself to sleep in the fetal position with if they pass the Yotes.

That's what I'm talking about. How come no one is all over the yotes, who actually have a coach who is tanking to the fullest extent? Seems like people are just afraid of what McEchiel could do with the kids we have already in the system and an open bank account, so they condemn us so if and when we get one of them, it'll be tainted.

Pittsburgh had Crosby, Malkin, Staal, MAF and have only won ONE cup. Sure one would be great, but look at Pittsburgh. Four top choices and only one cup.

Chicago has won two. Two top pics and a bunch of great draft picks and moves.

The Kings also have two. Only one top pick. A defensemen. Kopitar was a great pick outside of the top picks. And LA made great moves.

It is HARD to win a championship. Not everyone does it. In my opinion, the biggest factor in winning a title in any sport, is luck.

Coming to the realization we Prob aren't getting mceichel we take hanafin at 3. he's the 3rd best prospect you don't pass him up for offense, neither him or marner are going straight to NHL anyway. With Edmonton Prob drafting #4 then (Arizona finishes last loses lottery, surprise team wins) they done need another offensive prospect years away. they want NHL talent now. Send zadorov grigo and picks and draft both hanafin and marner. is it mcheichel, absolutely not. But We will suck again next year and be on the path of the LA model. Prob next year and 1 more bad season and hopefully win with a ton of top 5 talent with no superstar. that unfortunately what we need to hope for. The Chicago Pittsburgh model is lost without mceichel

GR was talking about the year pitss got Mario. They called in a goalie Tremblay? played 4 games and 8.9GAA . Thats nuts.

Just take comfort in the fact that this draft has like 6-7 amazing players at the head of it.
