I chose him as my avatar....because he ruled.

I dunno man. certainly not FAR
pho has a better defence by abit at least imo.
oel alone gives them a huge headstart.
and the forward core is AT LEAST comparable. id still say the sabres is worse. Buffalo is a historically low scoring team this season, no? bottom in every offensive category almost. but pho is missing boedker I suppose.
and on paper, they definetely have better goaltending.
lindback continues to play like this over 40-50 games, ill change my tune.
no disrespect intended towards the sabres. just not sure I agree
I still think you guys have the inside track on 30th. kinda funny you guys have a home and home with them.
will either franchise have had a bigger game(s) all season? like playoff intensity. who can lose better??!!
and then don't forget the painfully inept oilers with terribly inconsistent goaltending and an ahl quality defence lurking
big game tonight!! go oilers!!
amiright??!! |

the literal meaning is the opposite of the intended meaning?
naw.
I actually want the oilers to win.
post game, and looking at the big picture, who wouldnt want a shot at mceichel?
losses are easier to take when I think rationally after the game.
but pre/in game, I literally don't have it in to cheer for them to lose. like ever.
all we had to do was lose the last game of the season to the nucks last year and 2nd last was ours (the spot that got the first pick) And of course I wanted a better shot at ekblad..
I loved every second of tearing the nucks a new one and dropping to 3rd last |

I read all the complaints about the Sabres unloading their players and goalies on EK's blog. What don't they get that those were UFA's that are not in the future plans. And, Lindback is suddenly playing like a super star. And we got picks that can be used in future transactions.

yeah. seemed like there were a lot of sabre fans that needed to be talked off the ledge last night.
was pretty funny.
I didn't watch the game, but by all accounts you got badly outplayed, were outchanced like 2-1, but lindback stood on his head, no?
how can one control that??
or lend that to being a better team?
maybe im overrating stone and murphy abit ( I think they're both gonna be solid defenders) but oel is a franchise defender. and gormley looks like hes gonna be a great puck moving offensive player sooner rather than later.
while id bet risto is also a franchise guy at some point. but he aint that yet. and zadarov has a long ways to go.
debateable I suppose |

I don't want to lose the chance at McDavid, it's to important to this franchise.

I was sitting in my boring atmospheric science class with my laptop and instea dof listening to the prof, i just battled the haters in that thread for like an hour today.
they don't care about the realities or the truth.
ufa, old, not part of the future plans, etc etc etc.
theyre just haters that want easy answers and eat up everything they hear on the telly hook line and sinker.
its almost a waste of time to try and use rationality and context.
but I enjoy shutting them up, so I try anyway.
usually when they've been eviscerated, they just start resorting to short meaningless quips. that's when u know uve won |

the more i watch eichel too, the more i realize how amazing he is. hed be a first most years. just not this one.
id like either of the first two just for the options it opens up for edm to use in a trade.
not to say that id absolutely want mact to deal it. but considering how many holes we still have and how much longer we'll have to wait for nurse and klefbom to become what we hope, the opportunity to fill some major holes in one package is exciting. and id bet the farm theres some franchises that would pay DEARLY
but ill be happy with hanifin too.
the thought of him and nurse together in the farm next year is also exciting |

Our farm is badly depleted because so many are called up. Next year we should have some good ones there. I thought Ruhwedel played really well too.

I'm guessing if Arizona comes in 30th they'll get McDavid. They'll get him regardless. Then we should get Eichel.
