saw him absolutely dominate the wjc's awhile back.
saw him play a few times this year where he was far from dominant, but at least adequate for logging such big minutes as a kid with not a ton of help.
and then theres all the hype of course.

I think the only knock on him is the discipline. Not necessarily in terms of taking ill advised penalties but rather keeping a cool head. There were a couple instances in the World Juniors where it looked like he was on the edge and ready to start swinging.

It can be a good thing for him if he can learn to control it and pick his spots. Other than that id say the rest of his game is slowly getting their, the rest is time and patience unfortunately.

similar to the game he brought in the preseason. he was certainly talented enough to make the squad, but he was always trying to make the hero play. and paid for it a few times. gotta learn when the dump up the boards is the smart play.

and yeah, I really hope mact is able to acquire an impact guy this offseason and force nurse to the ahl.

I think if they can keep the pressure off him he could be in the nhl by trade deadline next year or even sooner. The emergence of Klefbom is a big plus for that.

id assume that jenner missing huge swaths of time has hurt pretty badly.

watched a lot of the pitts series last year and they looked great.
