Wow, is everyone (frank)ing suicidal tonight. For (frank) sakes, relax. We're not picking third yet. We're not (frank)ed another five years yet. We're not firing Murray at the end of the year. Arizona loses another game and some how an asteroid just hit buffalo NY. (frank)ing relax guys. Jesus. - TheSabresTaco

I'll admit, I will be disappointed, but I also like the Strome pick.
Kid has shown he can do it without McDavid for half the year.
Murray is a rink rat. I'm confident that whoever he picks will be a great one. This draft is very deep. - grand-magus
There. Thank you. |

Strome could end up being better than Eichel. I really still hope for McDavid. - Pierceme69
I thought his success was due to McDavid, till I heard he best run was when McDavid was out.

Grigorenko has not played one game on the top line since he has been a sabre. Nolan is a moron. Girgensons has flourished because he gets to play meaningful minutes and plays with better players. Even though people in the organization know that girgensons is lost on the ice because of TED Nolan having no system. That is exact words from the organization . How the hell do you extend TED Nolan,it is a joke and murray needs to explain, especially when everyone including nolan knows he is fired at end of year. How stupid is that. You have a lame duck coach who wants to stick it to you - Buffalo39
So Murray should fire Nolan because he's not losing enough.
The league would LOVE that. |

I hear ya. I stopped texting my best friend the other day because this is how he was reacting. I was ready to throw my phone across the room. I told him to stop taking it all so personally. It's a game. It's not personal. It has no bearing on his everyday life. |

I can't comment on all the games like you can, but the games I've seen recent;y (not today) The players are trying, as all players do, but they are always out of position and never in a position to get the scrappy goals that bad teams rely on. Yes, talent wise they are pretty depleted, but when rebounds are given up and no one is in front to at least try and get them, that needs to be addressed by the coach, who doesnt seem to care to do so. I mean even bad teams will get lucky bounces and misdirected shots, but when players are simply not in a position for that to happen, it wont' happen.
I understand that they can't seem to score, but again if they are truly lack that much talent, then you need to try to find grittier ways to score, not try using the same gameplan as you were when all your talented players were still on the roster - bberkey1
If you want to point to something that really shows they are tanking, it's that Boedker was supposed to come back last week and now they ruled him out for the year. But then again he did lose his spleen. |

Even when McDavid was in the lineup they were on separate lines. The only time I think they were out there together at all was on the PP, and I'm not even sure how much that was. |

We have had sit and pay and watch the worst hockey of 2.5 year stretch ever. The guy who tells us there will be suffering, just might outsmart us and get mceichel. The sabres entire front office loves when they lose, but they have a coach who knows he is fired. How did they let him stay on and it isn't because he is coaching great.if murray had control,he could of fired Nolan, brought Cassidy up for rest of year and declare we are playing all the young players.DONE |

Tanner wrote a blog last week about who the worst team in hockey is. Those of you who think Arizona isn't trying should read it. |

I went down to Erie last Sunday and he was on a line with Baptiste and a guy named Elie. They looked good. Very in sync with one another. |

why did you give a coach who everyone in organization admits has no system, doesn't watch video and doesn't like authority a contract extension. Now they are going to fire him the same year of extension |

Maybe Strome and Baptiste make up 2/3 of our top line in 3 years. |

That doesn't necessarily get you 30th place either. You think Cassidy wouldn't have those guys out there busting their asses? You bring in the young hungry kids and all bets are off. They're all trying to prove something. Half the roster here right now is not. |

And Strome would be the one taking the faceoffs, not McDavid.

Baptiste is a really great skater. The guy sitting next to me was like "that guy is really fast." I asked him who he was referring to and he said "Number 14." I told him who he was and that he's Sabres property. That line had a lot of good chances last week, but the goalie for Kitchener kept it close for a while. |

It's frustrating thinking about the possibilities that we won't get one of the two, I get it. We've dedicated at the very least two years of our lives living through poop hockey. We need a dose of luck. And we need a game changer. Fortunately though, there's more than two at the top of the draft. We get someone great no matter what. And we can't do anything about the outcome. It's going to be a tight race to the end. All we can do is sit back and pray. 29th place still has 33.5% chance at top 2. Edmonton has hall back. It'll all work out in the end. Plus the lottery is on my birthday. I know what I'm wishing for. |

Did they announce the actual date of the lottery? I know someone asked a week or so ago and I couldn't find anything. |

Ok let me talk to you more clearly for you to understand. Dave Tippett is on the same page with ownership. Arizona might win one more game. Tippett knows he will be there next year. Nolan knows he is fired,so he will try anything to win. The Sabres could of played hackett, makarov and rocky Farr. Does this make sense |
