MIke,the stats don't back up Nolan as a good coach. The same for REGIER,it is easy to be a coach and GM when you arguably had one of the top 5 greatest players in Dominik Hasek. i am sick of hearing how Nolans teams work hard. Has anyone ever looked at. He stats back when he was coach of the year. The only one that worked hard was Hasek.

Wow,what a great job he did with team Latvia. They had 1 win 4 losses in olympics, were outshot 57 to 16 ,but nolan is a genius.
We want to say he is doing a great coaching job with the sabres again with no talent. There shot differential is the worst in the league by 12 a game. He has been lucky to get some great goaltending.Do we all see a history here. TeppoNumminem called TED Nolan a joke of a coach.

I honestly think there are very few that need convincing . I really hope we have a new coach going into next season. Would be nice to see one with a different game plan for the team they are facing that night. Maybe even work on it before the game.

If the Sabres didn't play with desire and block shots like the Yotes these games would not be so close. The Yotes don't block nearly as many shots.

I believe murray has a lot of blame as I Said before. We should not be in this situation. We should be co for table in last place. How do you have a lame duck coach who is going to get fired and is going to play who he wants. This makes sense to you?

I wouldn't say he was floating. Its hard to get going when in the back of your head you know you will be demoted to the 4th line after one bad shift.

I have to disagree Smitty. He really hasn't looked good prior to Saturday. You can still play on the third fourth lines and be effective. He was slow to cover his man and was on the ice for a pair of goals against before he was sent down. It's hard to argue with Nolan with this placement of lazy players. Hodgson is Hodgson.. And grigo is finally playing hard and being rewarded for it. I'm glad Nolan is forcing him to play hard.

I'm not really sure. But my tweet was in regards to total all purpose points. I made a post this morning on this thread about it. 18 points remain to lock up 30th. Every loss for the sabres and every win for the yotes drops that total by 2
