no he was always average but had 1 really good year.

He'll get you around 72/73 games played and around 42 points per season.

Sometimes he uses his body sometimes he doesn't. He found a more physical game under Nolan. Lets see if it continue's beyond this season. Guys that are in the midst of a playoff push sometimes find another gear. It'll be interesting to see if he continue's to play this way in the coming years.

In the end he is a mid tier to bottom end 2nd line player.

Stafford is a tweener. He can play 2nd line but most of the time he is best on the 3rd line, if you plan on having a team go deep in the playoffs.

Well being you highlighted an area where I stated Stafford gives you 72/73 gp and 42.

Kane will give you about 40 in 64 gp.

So yeah wrong as Kane has one season where he played a full year and that was 48 of 48.

He's a 2nd liner on a good team now and is producing.....

Great centers or even very good ones can make good wingers look great. You don't need to build around one. We gave up a package for a guy that you don't build around
