A Rangers troll showed up for about 3 seconds and then bowed out lol - WarriorHockey21
There's still a way to "troll" this team? How? I think most of us are well aware of the state of the team. |

For what it's worth, as asinine as the majority may be, they're a pretty damn faithful bunch. In the early 90s, in 06/07, and even now, they still get a good turnout. Some other fanbases play to a few thousand people when the local team has seasons like that. - jmatchett383

If the Phillies don't drop ticket prices, they'll be playing to 1/3 capacity. The Flyers will still play to 70%+ even if they slightly raise ticket prices. - jmatchett383
I hope they drop prices. I love going down on cool summer nights at a reasonable price. |

They may have been announcing sell outs but those weekday games in 06/07 were sparsely attended. I can remember more than one occasion when I was the only one in my row. The early 90s were ugly too. |

I guess the good news here is, the Flyers were in the Cup Finals 5 or so years later after it looked like there was no hope. Same goes with 2010. Things can change fairly quickly. |

Oh, I know the paid attendance versus gates can be misleading. But back in the latter stages of06/07, after they'd already secured last place, they still played to some good crowds (although a lot of people showed up late and/or left early). I can't speak for the early 90s, I've just heard there was still turnout, at least to Blue Jackets 2000-2011 levels. |

There was a full house on hand when they rolled over and allowed Brodeur to break Parent's record for wins in a season. |

That record is fake. Parent didn't have OT/shootouts during his career. |

I'm interested in what the attendance will end up being on Easter. Because the NHL just screwed everyone with that time switch. Easter is non-negotiable. It's brunch with dad. He gets a huge kick out of it and I'm not disappointing his 92-year-old heart. I thought as crappy as the Flyers are there was no way they'd make us the feature game so the 7:30 time would be secure. Plenty of time to get back. But no. They have to subject us to another national Penguins game. Bleargh. But this probably got discussed yesterday. |

Frankly I was shocked the Flyers lost that game. How could that be possible with a defense core that featured:
Guenin
Picard
R. Parent
Kukkonen
Edit: Whoa, the 4th line that game was Ryan Potulny centering Ben Eager, and Riley Cote. |
