Do not question "Fattony" he knows based on past stats that NO PLAYERS other than the first overall generational players ever come from 1st Overall players.

The foundation is there. LOT of youth. Still hate Bogosian, though. Hopefully him and Kane aren't the bad apples that negatively influence the kids. The future is bright in Buffalo. Not to mention Reinhart isn't even with the team yet. Too early too call Grigs a bust?

I think so. He has looked very good the last few games. He might not be on the team next season though. They screwed up burning that first year of his ELC. They need to decide on him now instead of next season.

I'm not thrilled when Mezaros scores 2 goals but when MARCUS FOLIGNO, GRIGERENKO, RISTO, ZADOROV, LARSON, ENNIS, are developing in front of us, I see a positive.

For the guy who doesn't think Marcus Foligno is an impressive player with a higher ceiling yet to be determined, you don't know what to look for in players development. I'm proud of MARCUS and think this will build character in all our young talent!

I see a positive too. Adding Strome/Hanifin we will still be a great team (that's right, great), but adding McEichel makes us an insane team. We know we had the best prospect pool by a large margin for a while, we knew we were going to be great, but the prospect of adding a GENERATIONAL player to said #1 prospect pool was what was so mouth watering. I want a mother fvucking insane team.

For the record Foligno is tied for my favorite player with Girgensons. I still don't want him to score in these final games.

Please, Are you honestly suggesting that living life in a positive framework is naïve? I'm working on my Phd, not because I have to, I just enjoy learning and experiencing life. I am far from perfect, I began to obsess over this thing. When I took, a step back and put it into perspective, I was able to enjoy watching the game in some aspects, (watching young players develop) and also enjoyed the AWESOME comeback by the Blackhawks!

Please don't preach me how to be a fan. I'm enjoying my hockey just fine thank you.

I think he was comparing Pysyk to current players, they don't even have Hanifin yet (he might not have been including Nurse either, though I do think Risto and Zads are both better than him).

If we can get McEichel I will be all aboard a historic run to 8th next season.
