Ted and TM have answered the media questions perfectly in regards to the situation.

Interesting interview from mike morreale from NHL.com. Thinks eichel is more valuable than getting BOTH strome and hanafin. There def is a gap from eichel to strome despite some people not wanting to believe that

So have you heard anything about Babcock wanting to come to Buffalo if they land a top pick?

Michael - The "Present" (as in gift) is in the form of McEichel for this loooooooooong and ungodly season. I just can't reconcile the last two seasons and getting behind the Tank for them not to get one of them.
I don't blame the players, nor Ted...rather to a greater spirit that is and has been pissed at Buffalo for something...how else can one explain this if the finish 29th.

Its pretty much as exactly planned as you can think. Everything is by design

Much of the current problem stems from the recent past. Fans weren't thrilled with Golisano, so when Pegula took over they gave the Sabres a clean slate. They failed miserably so Darcy was fired. Murray seemed to have control over the situation so fans again gave the team a pass. Now that the tank is potentially falling apart people's frustrations with the whole situation are coming out. Particularly older fans who are connecting the dots of generations of failure.
