What he means is that in the standings if they finish tied the Yotes have the better record. So in a traditional sense they win the tiebreaker. But for tanking perspective, if they end up tied the Sabres finish 30th.

When Toews scored those two goals it was the best minute of my life since the last time I got some from my ex.
