It was unnecessary. Not flying elbow cheap, but stupid.

Sens better wake up or all the work we did for them will be wasted.

Crap. That just seems like such a waste cause it doesn't seem likely that Sanheim will make the Flyers because of the jump and the full roster, but he also can't step up to the next level of competition.

I actually think Sanheim can make the team next year. I just don't think Hexy will keep him up unless he looks amazing.

The result was bad, but the hit itself seemed fairly mundane. Letang just landed awkwardly, at least based upon the couple times I've seen the hit.

Eh..The hit\push was late and didn't really serve a purpose.
It was in a dangerous spot, it wasn't a hockey play.

If people are going to scream every time Rinaldo takes a breath then Im not sure how anyone can say it wasn't an unnecessary and dangerous play. Dirty, not in the sense an elbow or charge or board is but certainly not needed.

I thought Doan was finishing his check and Letang was horribly off balance, as I find him to be more often than not if you watch him play.

That play crystallized why most fans of other teams hate the Penguins. They play with an arrogance unbefitting a team with actual elite talent, rather than what they have, which is 2 elite players and a bunch of guys.

All you ever need to do to that team is frustrate them. They'll eventually find a way to give you the game, one way or the other.

I couldn't tell anything from that video, it was too fast and too short. Didn't look like a dirty hit to me, but haven't seen it much.

I was at the game....99% of Pens fans are actually OK that I run into at the game.

There were 2 idiots a couple sections over from me just begging to be thrown out of the game. They were drunk, taunting, etc. They got escorted out and even the Pens fans in attendance were relieved.

I had talked with Bill about it even he agreed he needs another season in Sweden. He didn't get as much ice time this season and he'll get that next year.

The game last week. There was this play along the boards away from the puck. BSchenn drops his stick, again, away from the play. No big deal. Well some Pens player comes up as Schenn crouches down to pick up his stuck and just drills him to the ice from behind. What a douchy play I thought. Then the guy swings around the ice and I see the numbers. 87.

And their fans wonder why he's universally hated. Gretzky didn't pull that crap. Lemuix didn't either. He's a franking child.

Does anyone know why Anthony Richard is rated so low by Central Scouting? He put up 43 goals and 48 assists for Val-d'Or this year and is rated 103 out of North American skaters.
