The first vs Orpik was hilarious when it happened.

Everyone was still crucifying the GM who signed Orpik too that contract. Instead of praising Scott for contributing, most people were saying "Brooks Orpik ladies and gentlemen! "

And on other angles of the Scott goal, you would swear as he was bearing down he was screaming "I'M DOING IT! I'M DOOOOOIIIING IT!"

I have a funny story about the second Jackman supplemental discipline. The errant fist that knocked out Jackman. I was on the phone with a friend at the time, and he was giving me updates on that game because I wasn't able to watch it at the time. I just heard him yell on the phone, "Holy poop John Scott just killed somebody!" LOL! The rest is history.

This thread was MADE for Sharksdivision. Enjoy brotha!

p.s. for everyone who wants to sign Sharksdivision's "resign John Scott" petition. Send him a PM for more information.

(frank)ing legend. Seriously though, don't know why he gets so much poop. Yeah he's a goon but he can pot a few at least and keeps other team's in check when he's out on the ice. Seems like a nice guy too off the ice and looks to be popular with his team mates. That being said, i doubt he'll be in the NHL next season.

Yep. I know the guys like him, but that money would better be spent as part of a contract on a Mike Green or Jeff Petry.

I don't think Scott was as bad as everyone said he was going to be. He was bad and clearly not an NHL calibre player, but he wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen on skates. Hannan was our worst player this season... And it wasn't even close.

Agreed.
The difference was, Scott played like 5 minutes a night. Hannan played way way more and leaked goals.

But a 4th line should be able to play 10 minutes a night to give other lines a breather and wear down opposing forwards. When A guy like Scott can only play 5 minutes for fear of him being a goal leak, someone else needs to double shift several times. Instead of wearing down the opposing team, you are wearing down your own forwards.

Hannan is kind of painful to watch. You can see his mind still computes where he needs to be and he can still think the game, but his body does not cooperate. His gap control, reaction time and reflexes have taken such a huge nosedive.

Yeah Mike Brown was our worst forward thats for sure...............here's hoping we buy him out or just stuff him inthe minors, just keep him away from the big club.

Men want to be him, ladies want to be with him. I enjoyed his presence on the Wild but when he played with us, they used him as D...not the best idea.

Some people like to, you know, discuss hockey. Especially since these blogs are meant to start discussion, speculation, etc

If you want to take the teenage one line twitter approach to it, be my guest. But the rest of us will use the message sections the way we see fit child

Yes it's a dream

Tim just hit a new low that's all, he must have been very depressed when he wrote this. I'm actually worried for him after this article.

You can't be depressed after watching that sick backhand goal.
