Caps lose leafs draft 24 - senstroll
For as much as I dislike Ovi for ruining Leo this season, I would have liked to see his team advance. That dude plays with serious caresi, i'd take him on our team any day |

I don't hate him as much as I used to.
He's toned down his stupid showboat antics. He seems to care more about the other side of the puck than he used to.
But he's still a dirty player.
No denying his talent, though.
I'd still take Crosby over him, though. I'd always take a centre over a winger. |

If Ovi would have played for the Leafs this whole time, would the fans have loved him or hated him by now. Tough call.

I'm still hoping that we trade up for Barzal. Hunter, Dubas and Shanny have all been spotted out in Seattle, and somehow getting him and Hanifin would be magical |

That is pretty easy to say after the fact when you have already won the McDavid lottery. The angst from your fanbase has exceeded even that of the Leafs' the last couple years.
Do you really think you would be OK having the same result next year. How do you think it would be significantly different (without McDavid).
Your management has been even worse than the Leafs the last 10 years. We don't even bother trying to defend the previous leafs management. We KNOW they wre idiots. It is interesting how you guys even bother to try to defend yours. Obviously, it is because of MacT's history as a player.
Where would your franchise be without absurd lottery luck? - Aetherial
where would we be without absurd lottery luck? We would have either Hall or Seguin, Nuge or Landeskogg, Yak , Murray or Galchenyuk and the 3rd or 4th pick this year...so basically the same place.

that would be amazing
prefer if we can use our current roster players to secure another pic in the 6-10 range
keep #24
I am thinking Barzal goes 6 or 7

Watching some IIHF, there was a pretty good scrum at the net and I thought it was odd to see between two Euro teams, until the announcer said Komogod was in the middle of it . Hopefully hes back to his old self next season. |

Get a good night's sleep tonight. It will be your last one for six months.
Oh, and don't argue with the wife for the next 4-5 months.
Trust me on this one.
I'll be hoisting one tonight to toast to your family's health, Neilser! |

Over last two decades, Alexander Ovechkin ranks third in playoff goals/game among players with at least 20 games,

Playoff bust.
That stat to me just proves his lack of leadership.
Guy's all about himself. Happy to score goals on his own, but what does he do for his teammates?
It's amazing how being a Leafs fan makes you so good at being negative.
I could rip Winnie the Pooh a new one if I felt like it. |

That's not too tough, the dude should learn his mitts too big for the honey jar after the 100th time. Reminds me of gardiner
