This whole "bringing the Cup home" crap is just crap. Most of the winning teams are made up of Canadians and the Cup gets plenty of Canada time.

Bottom line is, the best Canadian players rarely, if ever, play for Canadian teams. When that changes, this fabricated "streak" will end.

And that might be Edmonton. Montreal and Calgary aren't far behind. Ottawa and Winnipeg are stuck in limbo. The Leafs and Vancouver has no chance any time soon but even worse for Vancouver.

Toronto far and away winning the poll for Canadian team that will win the cup next.

The hockey news predicts Winnipeg wins cup in 2019. I think they are the best bet to be the next canadian based team to win! Great mix of vets not yet old, young talent in nhl and some great pieces in the system. The biggest key will be one of Hutchinson(24), Hellybuck(21), or Comrie(20) becoming that true number one goalie needed to go alll the way, my money's on Hellybuck
