I know why your mad, but remember IF we do get Babs which apparently has done a 180, Sabre fans are about to embark on a 300 page book by Garth one why Babs is "fill in what he would say". It will be beyond obnoxious.

As a Sabres fan this response by Garth is a disgrace to the fanbase in soo many facets. If Babcock decides Detroit is his place then fine, I'm not mad we tried and don't need to act like a five year old mad because we didn't get our way.

I'm as excited as anyone about our future but Garth needs to stop writing like everyone has arrived and developed and we have the 85 Oilers skating next year for us. The foundation is just settling now and there is no guarantee no matter how much potential that is a certainty.

As far as taking pot shots at the Red Wings, maybe your jealous Garth that they have done it right for 20 years plus years. They are the model franchise and until we win cups and have a run like they have it isn't changing.
