I think he means more of a big name coach, I totally agree with what youre saying, I just want this to be over with so Garth will shut up. How about we trade you back Gorges but you have to keep Garth in the deal

Although it's not over I just don't see him leaving D-town and now the Sabres have put themselves behind the curve waiting on this cheesy Michael Douglas looking shyster. Now we probably get a second rate Luke Richardson...I would rather have Luke Skywalker, at least he has the force with him.

rex ryan. please. what has he ever done exactly? a big mouth blow hard. looks like he took the money and ran. who else would have paid him that silly chunk of change.

yeah all those players will pan out. no doubt. future 5x cup winners at a minimum. mark pysk will be one of the first to bust.

if he does stay in Detroit I will be curious if a short term deal. I said that a few weeks ago. stay there for 2 or 3 years then see how a team like the oilers or gaybres look then

As a Sabres fan this response by Garth is a disgrace to the fanbase in soo many facets. If Babcock decides Detroit is his place then fine, I'm not mad we tried and don't need to act like a five year old mad because we didn't get our way.

I'm as excited as anyone about our future but Garth needs to stop writing like everyone has arrived and developed and we have the 85 Oilers skating next year for us. The foundation is just settling now and there is no guarantee no matter how much potential that is a certainty.

As far as taking pot shots at the Red Wings, maybe your jealous Garth that they have done it right for 20 years plus years. They are the model franchise and until we win cups and have a run like they have it isn't changing.
