I'm not a big fan at all of anyone of our Dmen . No big shots, no puck movers, no big hitters , no tough guys.

Wouldn't qualify any of them as jack of all trades, though that is as close to a description as I can come up with.

What I find funny is we were worried about lack of rhd a few years ago and now it seems like we have quite a few... Bieksa, Corrado, Weber, Clandening, Tanev, and Subban. Too bad none of these guys were bigger and played a physical game.

Though I am not sure if any of these guys are top 4 besides Tanev.

This guy omarcanuck that writes for vancitybuzz. :

He's the worst writer I've ever seen, just a troll. His latest article on how the leafs are trending up and in a way better position than the Canucks.

I have heard that argument about the Leafs being better suited even on here. Both teams have slim pickens

Trade Higgins, Bieksa, Jensen, Kassian and Lack.
Keep Burrows to play with twins.

If Vrbata gets a first, do it, if not keep him until the deadline.
Trade Jensen for a 3rd.
Lack for a 2nd.
Higgins for A 3rd.
Kassian for a 2nd.

They are anything but Jack of all trades, not even close. They are all safe type Dmen

I would like to see more value for Kassian or give him one more chance , but the rest is right

Prolly closer to the truth although I don't really call Bieksa safe.

They aren't very edgy for sure and what edge they do have often cuts both ways.

Wouldn't mind Edler moved but guessing he will be around next season. Big body but often doesn't use it. and when he does, I expect his back to give him problems. Might be the same issue with Kassian. Still hoping Kassian comes around, reality might be setting in.

We have big guys that don't use their size and little guys with heart that if they had size, would be a force.

Kassian is a head case, he's had enough time. I don't think he fought more than once this year. Maybe they get a late 1st, but I don't see much more.

It's too bad Edler doesn't play like Hedman, he's a stud now.

Apparently, Cody Franson will end that.
- Marwood

I don't think anyone is saying that Franson is a savior but considering he had as many points as Bieksa and Hamhuis combined PLUS 5 more points than Edler last year one has to start somewhere. We need to move away from Bieksa/Hamhuis/Edler and it needs to be sooner rather than later.

Meh, no great deals at OK wineries, certified organic is also overrated. The smaller less famous ones are the ones to check out. Black Cloud for example, my bud is a winemaker there.
- VanHockeyGuy

Organic obviously doesn't mean better tasting but it is a nice option.

That's why I recommended Little Straw and Rollingdale in the Kelowna region. As good or better wines than Quails Gate or Mission Hill plus they are Mom/Pop operations...not famous from that region.

I will fro sure check out Black Cloud when I am there in the summer.

Summergate and Saxon are also certified organic. Summergate is excellent (they only produce white though) and Saxon is, well it's run by very nice people.
- CubanBuffet

I bought from both a few years back when I was there...Summerland region. I don't drink alot of whites but if memory serves Summergate had a Kerner that was outstanding. I was 50/50 on the Saxon stuff but for me when it comes to organic Rollingdale in Kelowna is the best I have had so far.

Thornhaven in Summerland was real decent too (non-organic).

Hockey players are beer drinkers not wine sippers.

Have you ever heard of wine league hockey?

Can you imagine in between periods a player asking for a vibrant Chardonnay instead of a brewski.

Everyone stop this wine talk, be a man

I'm with lefty, give jmac a shot as well.

As I mentioned when I went to the Comets game, Grenier is very good. Big man who protects the puck. Shink as well very good 2 way game. Still can't believe there's been no mention of Freisen. As I said I'm not sure he has the size for a bottom 6 guy in the bugs but boy is he a spark plug

To be honest, I thought that the first half of the season. The last 2 months I thought Edler looked dominating.
