You need to watch kadri some more. He's Robbie Schremp crossed with Zack Kassian.

I can't say I've seen a lot of him, but I've seen enough to hypothesis that he could play better in another situation. He's 24, and haS scored .6 PPG in his career on an awful Toronto team. How much did he play with guys like Kessel? I bet it wasn't much.

Played enough with JVR and Lupul. And those guys are better offensively then who he would have as wingers here. And he is hodgson like defensively. Suggesting his offensive stats would suffer if he had to play a 200ft game is almost a certainty. Add in his well documented attitude problem(even in London with abiut the best run team in the CHL) and u get a waste of skin

I won't be able to formulate an argument based on Advanced Stats, but this person was able to. I bet Kyle Dubas would have a lot to say about trading the kid.

I still do understand where you are coming from. Advanced stats tell you poop all about a players attitude, and you think that's a big enough detriment to stay away; fair enough.

Guy Lafleur advocating having Brendan Gallagher as the next Captain of the Habs. A bit of a head scratcher, I must say. I think he's still a little young and I also would worry about him being eaten alive by the Montreal Press, especially given his non French status

Sweet baby Jesus, are you as vertically challenged as the players you praise? Are you okay with a dwarf toss?

If anyone should be the captain of Les Canadiens it should be Subban

I saw the tail end as I pulled into a small town on the Oregon coast. Been travelling up the coast for the past two weeks - man it feels amazing to be back. Toronto born, West coast at heart. I've been rather impressed by the amount of hockey fans I ran into North of LA. Even in Napa, my wife and I were at a restaurant two nights ago surrounded by ducks/Blackhawks fans. The waiter was oringally from Brooklyn and is a massive ranger fan. It made for some great conversations.

Thanks for the insight on the game

I love Oregon. Very cool place. Buds and I took a trip down there two years ago in a Winnabego. It was not a glorious vehicle. But every thing outside of it was beautiful.

Oh yeah, the game. As Pierre McGuire would say, Keith was a monster in both ends tonight. Stopped a goal going in late in the third which turned out to be a huge play. 2nd goal on Crawford shouldn't have counted, but Shaw scored two late in the third to ice it. The Hawks owned most of the play for the game.

On Bartkowski: "he makes poor defensive puck decisions"

Play him with Bieksa or Sbisa?

HaHa! Was my first thought. He will fit right in here.

Bring.

It.

I'd play him with Edler, just to see if one of them could hit -82 for the season

Love the Oregon Coast. Right around Seaside in between Cannon Beach there is a road that goes towards the ocean and it takes you to Willys Bait and Tackle where they filmed the final scene to the movie Free Willy. They have the huge Jetty that they made it look like he jumped over.

About half a mile there is a little store / antique/ curios / snack bar/ hang out that this little old lady use to own. She is a nut job but loveable. She showed me a two headed snake and told me how she use to be Walmarts biggest competitor, and how Sam Walton stole her ideas. She showed me a blank piece of paper and told me and the GF to stare at it. Amazingly around two minutes in we both started seeing an image of Jesus appear on the paper. People come from miles and miles to see her and that paper.

The amazing thing is I spent 10 minutes with her and when we returned 2 years later she turned to me and asked where my cocker spaniel was. Thousands of people walk through her store and she remembered me
