no.
I guess I'll elaborate.
This team has no intentions on trading for anyone that old. If Grigorenko is in fact traded, it will be for another young player. - TheSabresTaco
I read that Bylsma doesn't think they will go after FA vets or acquire older players just to win a few extra games. Sounds like they'll stick with the youth and acquire young players at best. |

I think that's in terms of big contract guys and older trade asset guys. I can see us signing a plug or two this year, so I doubt FA will be exciting. But we definitely have holes to fill. I'd like to replace Kaleta with Condra. |

kinda like that idea for this year...as bad as I could get, no way it will be anything even remotely close to the last two seasons |

I made a post a week or so ago about plugging Condra in on the 4th line. I like that. Murray knows him well so I can see that signing for sure. I'd really like Frolik but not at 5+ per year. It sure will be interesting what Murray does at the draft and even prior to it, along with FA in July. |

In the 2013-2014 season they did just that. They played the kids when they weren't ready. I think there needs to be a little more balance this year. I think a vet or 2 would do them some good.
It sounded from the interview that Zadorov will be here and not Rochester next season... |

Agreed Boos, just don't see guys like Sharp, etc. coming here. He might sign guys like Soderberg, Franson, guys under 30 to plug in. They'll be better no question. |

reinhart and 21st overall for 3rd overall pick.......MITCH - c2rds
Is Mitch Marner going to be a better NHL player than Reinhart?
At 165 pounds none the less?
Not to mention another first round pick?

if i'm not mistaken, darcy had five or six rookies in the lineup all at once...with Rolston as their coach, no-less...
that was a major disaster |

I think soderberg would be a great pickup...third-line center...and...y'all can hate on me if you want, but i'd welcome paille back with open arms for fourth-line duty |

I would support a paille-deslauriers-condra 4th line. Soderberg for the 3C would work. |

Agreed.
It's always wanting the flashy new toy. Reinhart is going to be that pick up truck that goes 250,000 miles and always does his job.
Marner is that shiny sports car that will get in a 5 car pile up with vehicles MUCH MUCH bigger than him and he will never be the same. |

Paille was never the issue.
Too many forwards were and Boston opted for Paille instead of the other trash.
I'd have no issue with Paille back here. |

Honestly I see Girgens as J Staal for the Pens
3rd line Center
Anchors PK unite with Kane
Second team PP
paired with 2 wingers that can each pop 20 goals and be a pain in the ass for the other team - homiedclown
Perfect, but the Kane part. I'm just not a big fan of putting a really skilled player on PK1. Rather have those minutes played 5-5 or on the PP. I'm not saying never on the PK, just more spotty than PK1. |

I agree that the Sabres are probably not going to surprise the league with a run like Colorado did a few years ago and will probably end up pretty low in the standings next season. But with all the young talent, and possibly a few off-season signings this summer, I think that the team will at least be fun to watch next season. - jallen6
If you get Veizna quailty goaltending you can
2013-14 Leafs with Bernier
2013-14 Avs with Varly
2014-15 Flames with Hiller
Teams can do greater than projected results if you have goalies preforming and maintinng 0.2% increase in their career averages |
