Eichel wI'll be just fine, but Even you are under appreciating Reinhart. He was the BEST player on Team Canada at the WJCs. That isn't an accomplishment for someone who is by definition relegated to second line duty.

The fact that he was drafted a year before the best two players of a generation has people treating him like a redhead stepdaughter.

Don't get me wrong. He's going to be good, and if they didn't get Eichel the Sabres would be a good team in the future. We are talking about the difference between good and great, however. And as I have said multiple times in the past, anything less than great after the travesty that has been the past two years or more, is unacceptable.

Yes, he did say that, and honestly, it's fine with me. He's already the guy everyone looks to in the locker room. It's not like putting him there is outside his comfort zone.

Ideally, that's not where he slots in for a long period of time, but for this year it works.
