I think so too. Rangers have one of the best D in the league. So his numbers might be a bit inflated but I see them as similar

sorry i just havent laughed like that in a long time.

most sane nucks fans can accept they got hosed in their goalie deals because gillis was too arrogant to trade them for less than a massive return. then he realized he will get nothing near that, and then gets hosed on both deals. kinda like how Vantel went all summer chirping me and then only after they got dealt for prospects did he realize i was right and he was wrong.

and then the icing on the cake is markstrom leading the nucks to a cup in 5 years. if i posted that in another thread they would think i was trolling!

I call BS on that, we draft/sign players to developmental deals expecting them to hopefully play on the team and yet we're unwilling to develop them under the kind of pressure they're likely to face? That seems backwards to me, better to find out before you invest hundreds and thousands of dollars and time developing a player if he can't hack the pressure of playing for the Canucks.

This is why you need to have the farm system close to the team, ok, maybe not IN the same market, but close by, like a farm team in Seattle or something along those lines. So that they're close enough that they can easily be called up, and so that the coaches/management don't have to take red-eyes just to watch them/help them.
